Perpetual Motion and Money Machine

On the way back in the car from a business lunch 4 of us financial planner, husband, father, coach guys were talking about Money and Energy.  Here lately especially with the election coming up and the goings on with Oil and Gas companies here locally there has been no shortage of doom and gloom predictions. 


After a somewhat lively conversation about grand labels like Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) and Peak Oil the question was asked of--in my opinion--the most conservative passenger in the conversation, "If you discovered there was unlimited money and unlimited energy would that change how you live your life now?" 

After a brief period of clarification the answer was definitively YES!.  If you want to Google Peak Oil or search YouTube for Stephanie Kelton it could be interesting. 

In the meantime what would you do differently if you knew there was no fiscal cliff for the country to fall off of AND the perpetual motion machine is just around the corner?
